Upper picture: The green roof at the EMS York building was designed as a scarf that hangs from the roof to the ground. The green roof was installed with the ZinCo Ecoraster system to ensure proper retaining of the growing medium.

Project Report: Warehouse Australie, Amsterdam/Netherlands

renovation of the 19th century warehouses
located on the waterfront of “Het
IJ” in Amsterdam. The old warehouse
“Australië” was integrated into a new
residential building and on a portion of this new building the green roof was created

Project Report: Fire Station, Grindelwald,Switzerland
Upper picture: An extensive green roof was used on the Grindelwald Fire station to blend it in to the surrounding landscape. Hot water solar collectors are located on the roof to warm the water of the outdoor swimming pool.
