Project Report: Vandusen Gardens, Vancouver, BC
Upper picture: View on the roof of the visitors centre at Vandusen Gardens. The building design motif is based on the shape of a native orchid flower. The green roofs are located on the petals of the flower.

Project Report: Residence, Burlington, ON
Upper picture: The extensive green roof on the addition ties in to the exisiting roof and is planted with drought tolerant perennials including various sedum species, grasses, alium, grasses and fragrant herbs.

INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

Project Report: Tschuggen-Bergoase (holiday retreat), Arosa Switzerland
Upper picture: The greater part of the new wellness and spa area disappears somewhat into the mountain. The only visible elements are the skylights, which are intended to resemble trees.

Project Report: "RUG" Building, Groningen, The Netherlands
Upper picture: The "Rug" building was designed with various levels of green roofs and slopes that vary from 4 up to 26 degrees. The green roof was planted with pre-grown vegetation mats.
