Walkways on roofs....

In contrast to landscaped rooftops, where the flow of water has to be delayed or held back, when it comes to paving slabs on rooftops, the majority of the rainwater has to drain off the surface. Drainage points must, therefore, be planned so that two levels of drainage are possible: at both the drainage level and the surface level. The ZinCo product range provides the necessary system superstructures and accessories.

Floradrain – Walkways on bedding material

If a combination of paving slabs and landscaping is desired, then the construction must have a high capacity for water retention, as well as drainage capabilities and resistance to compression. With Floradrain® FD25 or FD40 as the centre-piece of the construction, all requirements for a long-lasting functionality are fulfilled. Depending on the laying procedure, it will either hold the water back or let it through. Particular attention should be paid to the transitions between the paving slabs and the landscaping during the planning and implementation stages.

Elefeet- Walkways on adjustable pedestals

Some roofs do not have the load bearing capacity of the base layer, bedding material and surface layer. In this instance the ZinCo Elefeet adjustable pedestal are designed to carry the surface layer (pavers or wood decking), elemination the need for bedding material. Surface water can be drained quickly and easily through open joints and into the lower cavity; in addition, this open subspace provide good areation. If higher Elefeets are used, drainage pipes, cables or waterhoses can be accomodated and used (for example to irrigate adjacent green areas).

Elastoring - Walkways for low buildup heights.

If there is a drainage requirement with a low buildup height, ZinCo Elastoring is recommended. The height varies between 5, 10, 15 and 20 mm. With the adjustment shims, uneveness can be corrected. Elastoring does not have the same height adjustment ability as with the Elefeet.
