SEDUM CARPET - ZINCO FLORADRAIN FD 25
"Sedum Carpet" is an attractive landscape with low, ground-covering extensive green roof vegetation, and a growing medium layer of approx. 60-80 mm, that can act as an ecological protection layer and requires minimal care and attention. It is the lightest weight, lowest maintenance and lowest cost green roof available.
The different low-growing Sedum species which belong to the plant community "Sedum Carpet" are planted as plants with small root balls or by Sedum cuttings. The main flowering season of the "Sedum Carpet" is in early summer. The dominating colours are green/yellow and red/white.
The Growing Medium for Extensive Green Roofs, which is especially designed for the "Sedum Carpet", combined with the water retention and drainage elements type ZinCo Floradrain ® FD 25, creates the necessary habitat conditions, so that the "Sedum Carpet" – once rooted – requires minimum care and maintenance.
SEDUM CARPET - PLUS:
"Sedum Carpet-Plus" is an extensive green roof with a more sophisticated plant design and individual character. The depth of the growing medium layer is approx. 80-100 mm. Through the deeper layer of growing medium (20-40 mm extra) it is possible to include a more diverse plant design with taller drought resistant plant species. This provide a longer blooming period to the green roof and allow for different more colourful accents through out the vegetation period.
