SLOPING MEADOW - ZINCO FLORASET FS 75
The "Sloping Meadow" green roof system is an extensive type of landscaping for roof slopes up to 20° with drought resistant plant material. The sloped green roof systems differ significantly from system buildups for low-pitched roofs. Shear forces, increase with the roof slope and must be transferred into the roof construction. In addition, the growing medium must be protected against wind-, and water erosion.
The deep profile of ZinCo Floraset ® FS75 elements ensure sufficient interlocking with the growing medium and transfer the shear forces to roof construction.Plants must be selected to withstand the extreme growing conditions that are characteristic of pitched green roofs. Because of the slope the rain water will be carried off quickly. For that reason additional irrigation is necessary. The irrigation can be either by drip line or with a sprinkler system.
The waterproofing must be root protected.
