Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing business. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. This role is pivotal to ensuring seamless coordination between our warehouse, logistics, sales, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and optimize all inventory and warehouse operations
Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring timely delivery for both international and domestic shipments
Plan and maintain project timelines, forecasts, and product projections with clients
Collaborate closely with sales and project management teams to ensure smooth project fulfillment
Develop and manage relationships and contracts with suppliers and service providers
Learn construction process of both residential and commercial green roofs, understanding customer needs and timelines
Invoicing of all sales, working closely with sales team and controller on managing accounts receivables
Monthly travel across North America to understand projects / customers / operations
Track budgets, monitor KPIs, and prepare operational performance reports for leadership
Continuously identify process improvements and support long-term planning and growth initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
5+ years of experience in operations or project management (experience in construction, manufacturing, or green building sectors an asset)
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office - NetSuite experience is a plus
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to deal with high stress situations
Comfortable with early mornings and extended hours during busy seasons (Spring and Fall)
Comfortable with minimum 4 days a week at head office in Carlisle, ON

$75 k - $100 k total compensation, dependent on experience
